Hello, my name is Jaxon Huynh from San Gabriel High School and I'm part of the class of 2022. As a tennis player, I strive to reach the goals that I want to achieve. I seek to play in the best colleges in the United States with a great team and organization that can help me improve as a human and as a tennis player. Playing professionally is also an option in mind if I can seize that opportunity and learning new things that I can use to help other future tennis players who seek the same dream as I do. In a tennis team, a player needs to be a team player but also a skilled individual as well that can boost the team and bring attention to them. Although my tennis skills support my reason for being a good candidate, however, I present a variety of things to the table such as good communication, teamwork, and strong determination. Having the experience from high school tennis, I was able to act as a leader and star player for the team and was able to hone my skills that led us to win the league in 2019 and my entrance to CIF in my freshman year. Although my height proves to be a disadvantage, however, my speed and agility can back up my disadvantage. Being fast on the court means that I'm able to reach balls that others might not reach and to keep up and win against players that are believed that advantage over me. Furthermore, my academics are not left behind as I find tennis and academics to be the two most important things. Having straight A's through my high school year and with my highest GPA of 4.43 in my junior year, shows that my academics exceed above normal standards. With the given assets I present, I strongly believe that I can be beneficial to one's team and bring forth success to the college.
