Hello Coaches,
I have been raised by my Mom since I was in kindergarten. I have always wanted to go to college to better my future, being able to play tennis at that level would just be the cherry on top.
I consider myself a very hard worker. I am currently in all honors classes and have over a 4.0 GPA. I have always had very good grades and sports are my number one outlet.
Growing up, i tried almost every sport there is. I played soccer on a primer team all the way through my 8th grade year. I played rec basketball and on travel teams from the time I was 5. I continued to play basketball this year in high school, and I am currently in the middle of the season. Tennis was a bit of a different story. When I was in the 4th grade, I won a free tennis lesson in a raffle. I had never played tennis before and I didn't even own a raquet.
My Mom took me to the lesson that day, and that is where I met my private coach, Stefan. He just happened to be the next coach in line to teach the new students. They gave me a raquet to borrow and off I went. By the end of the lesson I had all 5 of the coaches at the club watching me. I really had no idea what i was doing but they told my Mom and I that i had picked up and learned more in one hour than most kids learn in a month. They asked me if I would like to sign up for more lessons, so I did, and I have been playing ever since.
