Abhishek Mohapatra '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches! My name is Abhishek and I'm from India. I'm excited to play tennis in the US and continue my success on the court and in the classroom. I have been playing tennis for 8 years now and was ranked in the Top 10 in the AITA (All India tennis association) and was have been #1 in my State in every age group. Unfortunately, the past two years with COVID, it has been extremely difficult to compete. The majority of tournaments have been cancelled. Therefore, I no longer have an active ranking or UTR. Things are beginning to open up so I will be playing the Men's circuit to obtain results and rankings to share.

Academics are also important to me. I have studied in an English medium school for about 14 years and maintained a percentage between 85 to 92 in all major exams. I have also been awarded the Scholar in the same school for consistent academic results.
