I believe I stand out from most candidates thanks to my success on many sports teams and in the classroom. I achieved great success this past tennis season as a Junior. Being #1 singles for the first year brought many challenges, but I finished the year with a 14-2 record on court #1. I was most proud of defeating the Standard Times' Player of the Year Will Horton in our end of the year matchup, someone who I had lost to earlier in the season. I handed Horton his first loss of his high school career in dramatic fashion, defeating him in 3 sets (1-6, 7-6, 6-0). I was recognized as the MIAA South Eastern Conference's MVP and was named to the South Coast Super Team thanks to these achievements. When I'm not on the tennis courts, I enjoy running to free my mind and stay in shape. I am also the MIAA South Eastern Conference's top mile runner, and even qualified for states in two events this past season (Mile, 1000m). Additionally, my hard work in the classroom has contributed to me obtaining a 3.94 GPA and being named to the National Honor Society. Ultimately, I think my success across multiple sports and in the classroom separates me from many others.
