Keegan Barkley '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Keegan Barkley, and I am from Madison, MS.  I am 6'1" and 150 lbs.  In 2010 and 2011 I was selected to represent Mississippi at the Southern Junior Cup and play number 2 singles for my state in Boy's 16's in 2010 and Boy's 18's in 2011.  I have played number 1 singles for my highschool for the past two years and have also served as the team captain for the last two years as well.  I am always willing to put in the extra time before and after practice to improve and earn my spot on the team.  I am looking for a good academic school where I can challenge myself in the classroom as well as on the tennis court.  I would like to play on a competitive team, but I am very open to the division and conference that the college plays in.  I have been working very hard this year and have played many USTA tournaments to improve and help my chances to play tennis at the collegiate level.
