My name is Joshua Rojas from Ridgewood, New Jersey. Tennis is my favorite sport since when I was little. My goal for college is to keep improving every day of tennis, also the academies. I always keep improving and want to keep practicing on and off the court. What makes me different is more about being a team leader, have leadership skills to be energetic no matter the wins and losses. I am very unique due to my techniques, and my hitting efforts. It takes a lot of practice especially when I was little and me not knowing about this sport. It helped me to get to where I am now. My parents and coaches supported me to keep improving every day to get better. When I was a sophomore in high school, I pushed myself to the tryout, but sadly I didn't make it to the varsity team, I made it to the JV team. But at least I get to continue playing tennis for my school. While I may not be the strongest in my team, I will keep accomplishing my goals to be the best I can be. I loved this sport very much, that's why I keep practicing speeding up the ball, even the dropshots and fast balls. I constantly improving everyday with the passion and love for this sport, my techniques on the court, I can be an excellent player for the college team. I love this sport very much, and want to play tennis in college to put my skills into play.
