Joey Kelly '24 Recruiting Profile

My primary collegiate goal is to find a college where I can succeed in academics and tennis.  I'm interested in majoring in either Criminal Justice, Forensics or Chemistry as I like to resolve situations and help people.  As someone who has attended a school with 30 different countries represented and train at a tennis facility (Legacy Youth and Tennis Education) that has a mission to prepare youth for success through its inclusive community I have been exposed to many different cultures and lifestyles.  At school and tennis I have taken part in giving back to the communities through community service by planting gardens and cleaning up parks.  My tennis goals are to be part of a team, to use my experiences to be a positive and supportive teammate, to encourage my teammates off and on the court and to keep learning and improving.  I almost forgot - and to also someday be better than and win a match against my sister, Julia.
