Tennis changed my life. For a year, I struggled with depression, feeling lost and disconnected. Then, a friend introduced me to tennis, and everything changed. From the first time I picked up a racket, I was hooked. I discovered not just a sport but a passion that reignited my drive.
It became clear that I had a talent for tennis. After only a half year of playing, I earned a spot on the varsity team and received a D3 college offer. This achievement, while gratifying, only fueled my drive to improve. My love for the sport continues to grow, and I am committed to putting in the hours to improve exponentially. I understand the dedication it takes to excel, and I will embrace every challenge to learn and grow.
Academically, I am currently maintaining a GPA above 3.0 while balancing the demands of training as well as my aspirations for the piano as I compete in competitions for it. My ultimate goal is to play at the D1 level, a dream I am pursuing. I am eager to bring that same drive and dedication to the next chapter of my journey.
I am not just an athlete; I am someone who has found purpose and a burning passion through sport. Tennis gave me hope when I needed it most, and I will honor that gift by becoming the best player and student I can be.
