Personal Statement
I am a very motivated student athlete who is able to excel in both high level academic courses as well as a challenging and competitive athletic training program. My dedication to the sport of running goes much farther than just racing. I make sure to take care of my body both before and after my runs so I can stay fresh and healthy. I have also become passionate about performing drills to improve my form/strength in order to lower my times. I am fully dedicated to running as I dropped my other passion of baseball after freshman year in order to compete in track and now am able to participate in year-round training. My best times and accomplishments are ahead of me and I very much look forward to competing for, contributing to, and ultimately being a leader of a successful college program.
