Andrew Semillo '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew Semillo, but most people call me Drew.  I have graduated with honors from St. Mary’s  High School. I have high aspirations to compete in sports at the college level.  I have competed and participated in team sports all of my life so far and believe that I am a team player who leads by example with my play and positive attitude.  I strive to do my best in school and on the field.  I have participated in cross country, track, basketball, and baseball.  I am the team captain of my Cross Country Team and Track Team. In the classroom, I strive to do my best and make sure I complete all of my tasks in a timely manner.  Both of my parents are educators, so education is important to me.  I believe that having a high character is important not only in life but in athletic competition as well.  As the great John Wooden stated, "Sports do not build character, they reveal it."  I feel that any team I am a part of, I will do my best to help the team in any way possible.
