Chase Lester '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chase Lester and I’m interested in throwing events for track and field and football at the collegiate level.  I’m a class of 2024 solidly sized athlete who currently spends the majority of my time as defensive tackle, all spots, and the only varsity male shotput and discuss thrower for the last 2 years.  (These are the only throwing events offered to me at this time). I am young for my graduation year as my birthday is June 24, 2006; I will graduate at 17 and could be class of 2025 by my school district’s guidelines.  One of my favorite aspects of both sports is the flat-out strength against strength.  

I am looking for a tight team that takes care of one another and a high communication coaching staff as I have a curious mind and I would like coaches who I can discuss with to make sure I have a solid grasp on what is being asked of me.  I am open and excited by new opportunities on and off the field.  At this time I am undecided on major but I’m interested in topics such as teaching, physics, history, and engineering.
