Running is unlike any other sport I've played, nobody can do it for you. You are the only one that can choose to lace up and pick up your pace, the only one to put in the work when its cold. The only one that will shovel a track just to workout on solid ground. Its all up to you, every step, every lap, every workout, every race. Running the 800 is definitely one of my favorite races because its one of the hardest pace to set for those two laps, you could blow yourself out on the first lap, or start winning on the second. Running isn't just about the being fittest out there, because the one that's willing to work the hardest will get first.
