Aidan McDonough '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Aidan McDonough, and I am currently a junior at Mountain Range High School in Colorado. Over the course of high school, I have constantly kept myself challenged by taking on several AP and pre-college classes. Additionally, the High School of Business program which I am also a part of at my school has enrolled me in a college level business class each semester for 4 years; this allowed me to receive a business specialization certificate through Front Range Community College in December of 2022. I also received an academic award/letter for maintaining a 4.0 GPA both semesters of my sophomore year. To finish out junior year and looking forward to my senior year, I fully intend to continue to hold myself to a high standard and strive to improve my discipline and work ethic. 

As for my extracurriculars, for all three years of high school I have been involved in track and field, cross country, DECA, and marching band. This has given me a strong sense of time management and commitment, along with a devotion to ensure I always meet and set new goals to pursue. At the end of cross country in November 2022, I earned an award that shows I embodied what my coaches looked for within an athlete, striking a balance between leadership, academics, and running. At that same time, I got together with another member of cross country and developed a rigorous off-season training schedule to prepare for track and field this season which demonstrates my dedication to the sport and my drive to always push myself towards my best.
