I started running about a year ago and have fallen in love with the sport ever since. my goal for my first track season was to break 5 minutes in the mile, even though I only ran a 5 flat I still had a great time. After that first track season i became very self motivated to make sure I did great in my first cross country season. I would train every day weather it be strength training or a speed workout. My goal for that season was to break 18 and I ended up running a 17:17. I also went on to run a 1:23 half marathon that year which capped off my season. I would love to run in college to further better my times and show what I can really do on the track and cross country course.
