I’m a hard worker and try my best on whatever I put my mind to. I believe in keeping a positive attitude above all else and making other people smile. Supporting the team is also a big part of what I believe in because the team makes the athlete. Some of my goals this year are big but definitely within my capabilities. I want to break 15:30 for the 5k this year and win states. My goal is to be the best athlete I can be and be the best in the state. To work hard and above all else help the team improve as a whole. I’m looking for a college that values teammates and encourage the overall improvement of the team which in turn helps me become a better athlete and person.
I think I would be a great fit for your school because of my attitude. In the last year as team Captain I helped motivate my team and we went from a school having not made states my 8th grade year to a school that has consistently surprised the top contenders. I also am good with communication with my coaches and listening to feedback and adapting to changes not only on the track but in the classroom as well.
Right now for the year I maintain a constant 4.0 for this semester and a 3.7 gpa this year. I’ve worked really hard to make sure that I not only work hard at practice but divide my time to the work I do in class as well.
