Malik Coleman '23 Recruiting Profile

Aloha! My name is Malik Coleman and I'm a Track and Field Sprinter currently enrolled at Moanalua High School, Hawaii. I first discovered my passion for running at a very young age, running with a nonprofit running community that honors the service and sacrifice of our military Service Members and their families. Ever since then, running has evolved my life and has molded me into who I am today. Getting the opportunity to run in college has always been a dream of mine and I am hoping to take my running to the next level. I am hoping to continue my education after high school, studying graphic design to build a foundation for my future that will set me up for success and happiness. I look forward to the journey ahead as I continue to grow as a person and an athlete.

Last year, I qualified for states for track and field and placed 9th. I ended my season with a personal best of 52.62. This year, my current PRs are 23.58 (200M), 52.09 (400M), and 2:03.26 (800M).
