Personal Statement
Since I was a little girl I’ve had the dream of playing collegiate soccer. I was the kid that constantly harassed my dad to take me to the field or come outside and take shots into the net. When I went to high school and made the Varsity team as a Freshman, that's when I knew I wanted to get serious with the sport and actually put all my time and effort into it. Through the years, countless hours of training , blood, sweat, and tears I have fallen in love with the sport and want to be involved some way for the rest of my life.
I know that I can impact the game and my team in many different ways. I feel that I have great vision and my soccer IQ is pretty high. When I get the ball at my feet I have the ability to put the ball in the net from anywhere on the field with either foot or set my teammates up for a great opportunity. I am very determined as a scorer, but if I am having an off game then I know I can still impact my team in a positive way. I am very competitive and I don’t like to lose, so I always leave everything out on the field. Soccer is my greatest love!
I am very close with my family and I would say spending time with friends and family is one of the most important things to me in life outside of soccer. Academics are very important to me also and being the oldest sibling out of four, I want to be a positive influence on them. I would love to make my dream come true and have the opportunity to play collegiate soccer while getting a great education.
