Dariyon Lipsey '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dariyon Lipsey, I am a Junior at Charles Allen Prosser Career Academy, and I'm a hardworking Track and Field athlete. I'm truly dedicated to this sport. I'm an athlete who knows the sport of Track & Field. My most important accomplishments were being nominated for team captain on my high school. I have been on the varsity Track team at my high school since my freshman year.

Knowing that I'm capable of running Track in college makes me more passionate for this sport. What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard and never give up. I am the first to go to the track and the last to leave.

When it comes to choosing what school I would like to go to, my options are very big. I mainly look at west coast states (Washington, Oregon, Arizona, California, etc.) but I am very open to going anywhere. I am open-minded about colleges and hope to just find a college that fits me best. It doesn't matter about the size or location; if I can receive a good education and run track I will be happy. I am still undecided on a major as of right now, but I am interested in engineering work. My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at a highly competitive level. Another goal of mine is to make an impact on the team and to be an example to those after me. Knowing at the end of the day that I made a difference and tried my hardest, would keep a smile on my face. I would like to go down in history as a top African American Track Runner. I am able to run what ever events my coaches put me in because I believe my coaches will never put me in a race they didn’t think I‘d be able to do well in.
