I see my years in college to be a period of growth on and off the field. Known as a dynamic player with a positive attitude and influence, these attributes not only affect my game but also reflect the honor and respect I have for the game and my team.
As I approach my final year of high school, I am sure of two things:
1. I want to excel in a career that will motivate and sustain me.
2. I want to continue my athletic career.
Sports have been a foundation in my life for over ten years, so much so that they have become part of my character and who I am. A student athlete develops a groundwork perhaps unlike other students. The time management, responsibility, commitment, determination and mindset are all integrated and molded into the student athlete package that I am today. There is something about being a part of a team that is not really replicated elsewhere. We live in an age that is saturated with the importance of the individual. Sports are completely different from that.
I love being part of something bigger than myself. I'm determined to see how far I can succeed in college as a student and athlete. Henry Ford once said, "Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right." I think I can.
