Frank Cox '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Frank Cox, I run Cross Country and Track and Field at Prospect High School in Mt. Prospect, Illinois. Freshman year coming into High School I had no idea what sports I was going to play. My whole life I have been playing baseball and basketball, but I wanted a new start. My mom decided to sign me up for Cross country and I was not thrilled with that decision. I learned overtime that it was an amazing decision and I am so happy she told me to do it. Freshman year was my first year running and it was a solid year. My team won many meets but I never thought about taking this seriously and running in college. However, track season of freshman year it really changed what I thought. I practiced so hard just because of the goal I wanted to reach, I would search up these college times to get recruited and my goal has been to run those times. All I watch in my free time is people doing these crazy track workouts and running crazy cross country times. I want that to be me one day. I will practice as hard as I can to run for your team and I will bring dedication, hard work, and leadership.
