My name is Peyton Taylor, and I'm senior going to APA in Anderson, Indiana. I am dedicated to Track and Cross Country, as I have been running for the past 7 years. As I enter my final year, I realize this is more than just a sport, it's my lifestyle. I enjoy running and I love to share that with other focused athletes. By going to college, I want to step up into the next level and push myself to be on a higher playing field. Running in college would be an opportunity to motivate me to do my greatest with those who have more experience and knowledge. I aspire to be a firefighter, to not only save lives, but motivate people to value what they have. I find myself being extremely grateful for the opportunities, coaches, and experiences I've had throughout my middle and high school running career, pushing me to go further than I have before. Though I've been running for the past 7 years, I hadn't had a passion for improving until my Junior year. I want to get better and put in hard work to achieve that goal. Being a firefighter, I feel as though I will change people's perspective to be passionate in life, just as running has done for me.
