I have been running in track since I was 13 years old. Ever since I first stepped onto the track field, I have fallen in love with the race. My dream to race in college has grown throughout the years, especially with the support of my family. I know that racing for a college is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that would change not only my life but my family’s life as well. With willpower, effort, and determination I know have what it takes to succeed.
I am one of the fastest mid-distance runners. Along with that, I am a team leader who sets an example for the rest of my peers, on and off the track field. I have a positive attitude and encourage my teammates as well. My personality leaves me very coachable, and I desire criticism to make me a stronger student-athlete.
In the classroom, I study very hard. My mindset is to attend a college where I can challenge myself both academically and athletically. Even with Auditory Processing Disorder (APD), I always try my hardest to succeed both on and off the field. I am open to ALL options and want to ultimately find the college that is best fit for me, academically and athletically. Most of all, I hope to become a great role model to my peers, community, and brother, and to make my parents proud.
