(Currently studying at Loughborough University in the UK, Center of Excellence for Para Athletics) T37/T38 para runner currently Ranked Number 1 for Team GB (800m, 1500m and 5km). Sean’s tenacious attitude is best demonstrated by his 4 year progression in the 5k from 22:11 to 17:36. Sean has the ambition of transitioning from the Paralympics to the Olympics. It is estimated that he is top 20 in the T37/38 Paralympic Rankings. Sean's Hemiplegia (mild Cerebral Palsy) had once been a barrier but is the driving force to his success. Constant work on his left arm and leg has seen him develop a more fluid running form. Sean would thrive in an environment that understands the type of runner he is. His work ethic will drive the team on to greater success. Sean's ranking in the 800m was after his first outdoor 800m race, which would enter him into the unofficial all-time world U20 top 20 T37 rankings and really is an indication of his future potential.
