My goal is to compete at the highest level in the discus and other throwing events.  I am currently undecided on a major, but understand the importance that academics play in my future.  I am looking for a school that places an equal amount of emphasis on academics and athletics.  This past summer I placed 5th in the USATF Junior Olympics for Discus(15-16 age group).
