Lane Jessup '28 Recruiting Profile

I started running at the age of 11 as one of only a few 6^th graders that were selected to compete for my middle school track team. I quickly developed a passion for running and a relentless dedication to achieve every goal I set for myself.

During my first track meet as an 8^th grader, I broke my school record in the 1600m and I ran in the 4X400 where my relay team also set a new school record for the event. As a freshman in high school this year, I was the only boy to earn all-regional honors and qualify to compete at the cross country state championship meet. 

My grades and schoolwork are also very important to me. I am currently taking advanced courses and I have an excellent GPA. 

I work hard in everything that I do and I aspire to be part of a competitive college track and field program that challenges me on the track and in the classroom.
