I started my Cross Country and track career as a sophomore in high school (2016-2017). I instantly fell in love with running as I was previously a football and tennis player. I made the switch because I didn't love football anymore and wanted to just try it out. It became more than just another sport. For me running became a passion that brought me joy and relief. I am also a very competitive athlete as I am also part of my varsity basketball team since sophomore year. Whether it's on the court, on the track or through the woods, the competitor comes out in me and I compete to not only win but to dominate. During the spring of my sophomore year I wasn't sure if I wanted to return to tennis but in the end, my passion for running took over and I ended up running track. The love I have for the sports I play is unmatched and my competitiveness is unlike any other. I run for mare than just to run. I run for my best friend who past away. He always pushed me and motivated me even though he didn’t run. He will always be out there bringing the best out of me everyday. Also, I am a studious person. I take great interest in the math and sciences and take great pride in doing the best I can in school. I would be a great addition to any team as I bring energy everyday.
