My name is Lucas Ribeiro, and I'm a senior at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, MA. My first experience doing Track and Field was in middle school. During that time, I had the opportunity to try different track and field events. That was my first time running the hurdles, and little did I know that was how my story would begin. Fast forward to Freshman year, I knew I would run track and field, but this time as a high schooler. During that time, I found my passion was hurdling, and I've focused on training, conditioning my body, and getting faster since then. I appreciate the consistency of the sport and the ability to measure my progress through statistics. Although track is an individual sport, I very much focus on being a leader on my team by encouraging team members to focus and execute at the best level for them as an individual. As I think ahead to my college journey, I am looking for an opportunity to continue my academic journey, majoring in business, and have the honor of running hurdles for the track and field team.
