Ibrahim Abdel-Dayem '27 Recruiting Profile

I love running because I love the feeling of pushing my limits; setting ambitious goals and working relentlessly to achieve them. I find a deep sense of fulfillment in seeing my times drop, and seeing that my dedication has translated into measurable progress. Beyond that, running matters to me because of the bonds I form with my team. My teammates and I push each other to improve, and we celebrate each other’s successes as much as our own. I feel proud when my teammates break barriers, knowing that we have all contributed to each other’s success. I hope to help foster and be part of a similar team environment at the collegiate level. 

Just as I am drawn to the challenges and rewards of running, I am equally passionate about the pursuit of knowledge. I want a college education because I crave a deeper understanding of the world. I am particularly interested in studying physics and philosophy, fields that seek to answer the most fundamental questions about existence.
