I am a 5-foot 9-inch, 107-pound, distance runner from Pleasant Ridge, Michigan. I attend the University of Detroit Jesuit High in Detroit, Michigan. I have been on the varsity track and cross-country teams since freshman year. As a freshman cross country runner, I received the “Freshman Award”, and the “MVP” award as a sophomore. I began running in the sixth grade, after being cut from another sport. My Uncle Bob, who was a college All-American in Track and Field, has been a real inspiration to me. I am a real team motivator both on and off the course, always working with my teammates to improve both personally and as a team. I have a 3.99 GPA. I am looking for a school where I can find the right balance between the classroom and running. I would like to attend an institution that has a good academic reputation. I am undecided about my course of study; however, I excel in the areas of English and math. Ideally, I would like to be a part of a program where I can make an immediate impact on the cross country and track teams.
