Sports mean a ton to me, I come from a competitive family that watches and plays sports constantly. I do understand that academics are a huge part of competing at a collegiate level, so I set my goals high both on and off the field. In college, I would love to pursue a career that will challenge me, as I love working toward goals and enjoy work that requires putting forth my best effort. Over the years I've found that I'm a very competitive person, nothing gets me fired up like a little competition, I do my best to channel my competitive nature into being productive. As far as standing out among other athletes, I think what really helps me set myself apart is my work ethic. I am always willing to do whatever it takes to improve in everything I do. Whether it's sports, school, or just work in general, if there's a possibility for improvement, I will do everything I can to get there. Finally, I think above all, win, lose, or tie, I think sportsmanship and being humble is one of the most crucial aspects of being an exceptional athlete.
