I started running Track & Field in 6th grade, and have continued since then (despite freshman year during the Co-vid19 pandemic. After running for many years of my academic life, I have begun to realize and foster year after year a passion for the sport and cannot see myself continuing into my college years without it. Track & Field has acted as an outlet for me during the craziness of being a teen, stressing over grades, family changes, and self discoveries. Any and all opportunities given to run Track & Field in later years are not taken without great appreciation, for with proper training and right facilities I know I can become a much better athlete and student.
