Trevor Wellman '20 Recruiting Profile

Lettering as a freshman in high school was a very important accomplishment to me.  I was the first in my family to achieve a letter at that young of an age.  Although I did letter, I think that the most of my growth as a person, athlete, and student came from my sprint coach Lynk Downing.  He pushed me to do events I never thought I’d be doing, such as the 400m and 200m dash.  Without Lynk I would not be doing track... let alone my events.  He’s helping mold me into the athlete I want to be... not the athlete he wants to see.  I owe my performance every meet to my coach, my friend Lynk Downing.
