David Smith '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is David Smith. I run for a traveling track club called the Mississippi Track Stars. I am a formal Junior Olympian with a current ranking #49 in the nation for the 1500m race. I have a couple things that I would like you to know about me. First, I am a leader. I’ve always been the runner on the team that others have looked up to. I motivate and push all of my teammates regardless of their situation! I am a firm believer of good sportsmanship! Second, I am intelligent. I’m not saying this to brag I’m just being honest. I have maintained above a 3.0 gpa all throughout high school. I’ve always been a hard worker and definitely a good listener! Also, I am very respectful. Most of my coaches use me as the team’s example. I am now an upcoming senior at Murrah High School. I do plan to go to college and major in Real Estate. I do really wish and want to run in college though. I wish to run regardless of what I do. I am an exceptional cross country runner also! I have been trained by formal D1 athletes and also, I have trained with some of the best coaches in MS. I am willing to work hard!
