Aayden Simmons '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I’m a 3 sport AA athlete from Helena High School in Montana. I am really excited to pursue track and field in college. It has been a hard decision on deciding between basketball and track/field. Ultimately, the amazing culture of track and field is what really made my decision clear. I love both the team and individual aspect of track/field. I’m currently a high jumper, triple jumper and I am on the  4x100m relay. In addition, I want to add long jump.  Our season is so short in Montana due to the weather but I am trying to get as much experience as possible.

My biggest highlights so far are:

1. State Champion High Jump AA 2023 as a sophomore

2. Being one of 4 sophomores in the nation at  Championship level at Nike Outdoor National Championships 2023 High Jump

3. PR 6’8.75” and 1st place High Jump at Region 11 JO Championships 2023

4. All-American finish at USATF National Junior Olympics Championships 2023, high jump

5. Invitational Level at Arcadia 2024 with 6th place finish in High Jump 

6.  All-State performance in high jump, triple jump and 4 x 100 relay at MT State AA meet 2024

7.  All American Triple jump with new PR at Nike Outdoor Nationals 2024

During the fall I am busy with varsity soccer and winter varsity basketball. But I am excited to squeeze my track and field recruiting into this upcoming year!
