Personal Statement

Everyone has a place to clear their mind. For me, that place is on a track or a dirt road feeling my legs working underneath me. Running is not a hobby for me, it is a lifestyle. I live for competing in races where I find my best self. Running has taught me to always persevere and work hard. Also, running has taught me to never give up, which I not only constantly remind myself in races, but also when I am forced to overcome obstacles in life. As a pursuing athlete and teammate, I will always do whatever it takes to carry my team to the top.
