My name is Lane Heimes. I live on a farm with my parents and 5 younger siblings. I am a multi- sport athlete (Football, Basketball, Track, and Baseball). Ever since I started pole vaulting in junior high I fell in love with it. My goal has always been to vault in college. I have pushed myself in season and out of season on the track and in the weight room. I would be a good candidate for a collegian team because I give 110% in everything I do. I work hard in my studies as well as my extracurricular activities. Another quality I bring to a team is the ability to be coached. It is easy to coach me, because I don't complain and I trust the process. I am always open to new ideas that could help me succeed. I have proved I am hardworking and determined in my school. I am President of FFA, Student Council, and National Honors Society. I have also been voted Homecoming King, football and basketball team captain, and quiz bowl team captain. Sports play a big part of my life. I am excited to pursue my goal of vaulting in college. My education also matters to me a lot. I would like to major in agronomy as well as do track in college.
