I've been dedicated to this sport since 2019. Athletics in track and field is not just an activity for me; it is a defining aspect of who I am, shaping my character and giving in me a profound sense of purpose.
What distinguishes me from other athletes is my diverse background. Having been born and raised in Mexico, I have had the privilege of experiencing the sport in a unique cultural context. This upbringing has endowed me with a broad perspective and an appreciation for diversity that I believe can enrich any collegiate program.
I have a strong commitment to supporting others, both on and off the field. Whether it's providing encouragement to teammates, offering assistance to fellow athletes, volunteering with the organizing team for events like the Paralympic State Championships, or even extending a helping hand to opponents, I believe in the importance of sportsmanship and fair play. Being there for others in a positive environment is something I take great pride in.
I am deeply receptive to coaching and mentorship, recognizing the and following the guidance they provide on the journey to athletic excellence. Throughout my training, I have consistently sought out leadership roles, and the opportunity to inspire and motivate those around me.
My ultimate aspiration is to compete at the highest level of college track and field. However, I am open-minded and adaptable, eager to explore any avenue that may lead me closer to realizing my dreams. With unwavering determination and a relentless work ethic, I am prepared to overcome any challenge that lies ahead.
