Joseph Kurak '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joey Kurak and I am a 2024 graduate from Manchester Township High School, NJ.  I have been on the HS Varsity Track team since my freshman year for both indoor and outdoor seasons.  I currently run the 55mH, 55m, 110mHH, 400mH, 200,4x200, 4x100, 4x400.   My dream has been and continues to be running at the college level to further my athletic and academic career.  

I am a skilled track athlete with a great degree of speed, technicality and determination.  My high level of respect and positivity towards track, my teammates and coaches has positioned me to be a valuable member of our track team.  This years accomplishments include being State Sectional Champion, 1st place Shore Conference, 1st place Division, Team State Sectional Champions,  4 x 200 Qualifier for Indoor Nationals and New Balance Indoor Nationals Semi-finalist for the 60mH.

I work hard in all endeavors, both on and off the track.  I currently have a 4.0 GPA and am in the top 10% of my graduating class as I know the value of education.  I am also a member of the National Honor Society, Jr. Achievement Club, and participate in volunteering within my community.    I look forward to running at the collegiate level.
