As a track and cross country athlete my passion for the sport began in middle school realizing that I had potential when I started placing in the top 5 in all my races. This drove me to work harder in middle school and also gave me a better work ethic in sports and academics. I strive to be better everyday and work towards my achievements. I make sure to prioritize my nutrition and health. I often focus on small steps to make bigger differences in my athletic performances such as mindful breathing, rolling out, and making sure I'm not underfueling. I also prioritize a healthy team environment and working together to achieve our goals. One day I hope to compete at the college level and not let my hard work go to waste.
