Edward Xu '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Edward Xu, a rising senior and an aspiring engineer, and I hope to run track in college. My life is incredibly busy and sometimes I get lost in the mix amidst my several AP classes, clarinet practices, kungfu training, volleyball practices, robotics club meetings, and of course, track practices. I’m busy, but I’m passionate. Everything I add to my brimming schedule is only what I love to do, and I’m proud of that. I see every group, club, and activity as a new opportunity to meet a new community and make new memories. Ultimately, it’s these lasting memories and friendships that hold sports so close to my heart; through the three sports I play, each and every one of them offers unique people with unique perspectives that make training with them so much better. This is why I hope to play sports in college. The passion that I have for sports yields the dedication and hard work that I exhibit every day, so I would perform well on any team with any group. Practices are my escape from homework, school, and life, and I hope to be able to play for your school one day to continue this lifestyle. Thank you for your consideration.
