I would like to pursue a career in marine biology.  I have always had a love for the ocean and sailing for as long as I can remember. I have a passion for exploring and discovery of new things and how those things effect the environment around us. Having lived with ADHD and a Receptive language/Auditory Processing Disorder my whole life, I have faced many challenges both academically and socially that I have needed to over come. Running has been a huge part of my life ever since I started. It has helped me cope with all the bad things going on around me and helped me find new ways to complete tasks with efficiency.  While my academics are not on point, I take pride in the other characteristics I do possess. I have been a Boy Scout since the age of six. I do a quite a bit of volunteer work in my community and I am a kind caring and compassionate individual.
