I have been running competitively since I was 11 years old. Early on I competed in age appropriate triathlons but quickly fell in love with the running component. My goal is to earn a scholarship and run at the collegiate level. I realize that running in college requires the utmost dedication and commitment.
While I continue to improve my PR's every season in the mile and 2 mile. I do believe I get faster the longer the race. I find that my endurance is my greatest strength. I train year round and seek to lead by example. I will be the hardest working recruit you have pursued, and will strive to work harder than everyone on my team and use that effort to encourage and support my teammates to be the best they can be.
Personally, I want to win a national championship while in college. I am always looking for new ways to take care of my body and improve my mental health. My parents have helped me take nutritional health more seriously and I continue to seek every edge I can find. I am not only looking to better myself but I also hoping to support and better those around me. And I’m always pushing to go the extra mile, to go harder and achieve new PR’s in order to get the next level.
I take my grades very seriously and hope to be at the top of my class by graduation. I play multiple sports during the school year to increase my athleticism. I am employed part-time for a landscaping company, I am active in my local church, sing in the choir, and am currently enrolled in an ACT/SAT prep class.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
