Joshua Bell '17 Recruiting Profile

  The highlight of my throwing career so far was winning Canadian Youth Nationals in only my second year of throwing all without a coach. However, I feel I learned the most as a student-athlete after finishing third at D1 Provincials in grade 9, when I had thrown the winning distance in another meet.  That experience helped me grow as person and help me aim my focus at becoming a skilled thrower capable of competing at the collegiate level.  

  Over my 3 years of throwing thus far, I have learned the values of teamwork, leadership and commitment. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit both athletically and academically.  I believe I not only have what it takes to compete at the college level, but the work ethic, leadership, body awareness and character that will make an immediate impact on your program.  As a 4 sport athlete I believe I know what it takes to learn and compete at the next level.
