I am a dedicated Cross Country runner and I look forward to running on a collegiate level. My college education is equally as important to me as running on a quality Cross county team .
I would be a good candidate for a college who prioritizes the importance of leadership, education, and integrity. I demonstrate leadership by advocating for my education as my teammates education; my ability to listen and learn from my mistakes; my ability to lead and educate my peers and teammates. Beyond School, I have a really strong start and finish to my 5k Races-which lays the foundation for more coaching and experience.
What makes me different than the average Joe, is my malleability for change and my integrity. I look forward to working with my college coach to develop effective runner strategies. I am willing to endure both the physical and mental labor imbedded within learning new strategies .
In addition to that, I have integrity. Integrity is something that athletes lack especially when it comes to Cross Country. I have the integrity to practice when the coach says practice; to do the work required to be great and to learn from my mistakes.
