I am very interested in furthering my education and Track and Field career in college. I am currently going into my junior year of high school and have competed in Track since 8th grade. In 8th grade I got 1st place in the conference meet in long jump and high jump, breaking the conference high jump record as well as qualifying for junior high State Track in high jump, placing 4th and long jump, placing 12th. These accomplishments motivated me to continue Track in high school. Each year I set goals for myself to improve my personal records and placements. This year winning my conference in high jump was one of the goals I had set and was able to achieve.
I am also a member of the varsity basketball and varsity football team. I feel that being a three sport athlete has helped me become a well rounded person, athlete and team mate. I am very motivated and dedicated to working hard at practice, in the gym and in the off seasons to become the best I can individually and as a team. I am very coachable, enjoy being part of a team and always encourage my team mates to be the best they can. In the classroom I also work hard to achieve good grades.
