Personal Statement

My name is Trevor Heitkamp. I am a distance runner from Fort Recovery High School in Ohio, class of 2024. As a 4.0 student, I have qualified for state in track and field and cross country (twice). This past year, I have set many of my PRs. In my sophomore track season, my 1600m time was 4:31, and my 3200m time was 9:37. In my junior year, I have lowered my cross country 5k personal best to 16:16.

I am interested in running cross country and track and field in college. Hard work, faith, and the constant desire to improve make me who I am, and I believe that the right university for me can help further develop these characteristics. Feel free to contact me through email or text/phone.
