Justin Kim '19 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to be the best high jumper I can possibly be, standing at 5'9" and being oriental, the odds are not in my favour. However, I do not let these shortcoming define me nor my ability and passion for jumping. My goal in college is to train hard with coaches and teammates to push myself to the full extent of my potential whilst studying hard to achieve a successful post secondary education. What differentiates myself from other recruits is my love for the sport, evident from the video evidence of myself spending countless hours, days, even years jumping in my own room due to having no access to any facilities that support my passion. In addition, my outgoing, humble, co-operative personality makes for an easy time getting along with coaches, and teammates as I believe that it's teamwork that makes the dream work.
