Personal Statement
My name is Matthew Mitchell and I am beginning my junior year at Damascus Christian School in Oregon. I consider myself to be a well rounded athlete but last year I fell in love with track and field. I am putting all of my efforts into training for the decathlon. I am an extremely hard worker and dedicated to training and working out in the off season to be the best athlete I can be for this upcoming high school track season. My goal is to compete at the collegiate level. I would be a great addition to any team because of my work ethic and ability to get along with team mates. I am an honors student with a GPA of 3.6, I have not yet taken my SAT/ACT but will be doing so this spring.
