In my first year of running I had accomplished a lot. I made Varsity on the district champion Track & Field team, I was invited to multiple Frosh/Soph meets, and ran a sub 5 in the mile (outside of the track season). I quit ballet after 5 1/2 years to focus on running and I don't regret my decision. I feel very fortunate to be in the situation I am now with a great coach, who's very dedicated to his athletes, and to have teammates that will help push me. They've taught me mental toughness, hard work, and commitment to my sport.
I feel like I can bring a lot to the table for any school. I've had many years of leadership experience and I love keeping my teammates spirits up whenever possible. Along with my positivity and leadership, I believe I have a strong work-ethic. This sport means so much to me, and I'm always finding opportunities to improve. Outside of my dedication on the track, I work very hard in the classroom. I'm very focused and use my time wisely in all of my classes. I'm looking for a school that will push me athletically and academically. With all of this in mind, I look forward to the rest of the recruiting process and I believe I have what it takes to be a member of your team.
