Personal Statement

My name is Jacob Lawson. I am currently a junior attending Downingtown High School East on the Cross Country and Track team.

My coach said it best when he describes me as "loving life." I love to run, involve myself with activities, and enjoy spending time with people as well as making new friends. I believe I would be a good candidate and addition to a team in college because i have a work ethic I believe cannot be matched by many other people. When it comes down to me and another person at the end of the race, i will give it my all and more to benefit my team.

I believe I am different in character because I love to be happy no matter what the situation is. I pride myself on trying to make others smile and happier in the process, and running has been an enormous part of my life for a long time now.
